Koney is an italian DJ and producer with his studio in Venice, Italy.

He starts DJing in 1994 and producing in 1996 using a Commodore Amiga computer. In 1997 he released his first EP on Zero Music Hard, widely respected Swiss Hardcore label. In 1998 has released his second EP on the same label and in 1999 he started his own label: "Koney rec", releasing just his own productions at a rhythm of about one record per year until "Koney 8" was out, in 2006. During this decade he has tracks and EPs published on N.e.Tunes records, Sonic Pollution, SANA, Quirex, Terrornoize Industries, Corrupt, R-909%, Industrial Strength and the dutch label Hong Kong Violence.

His style is definitely definable as INDUSTRIAL HARDCORE but has been influenced by electro, techno and downtempo in several productions like the one in Industrial Strength. He's famous for the technical quality of his recordings, still made with a oldschool analog console. Masters digital and analog gear combining his skills from both worlds to shape his own sound.
